Suggested itinerary

Check-in

Check in at our Kaiteriteri ticket office 20 minutes before your departure time. If you have already exchanged your booking confirmation for a boarding ticket, please check in at the boat.

Cruise out

Relax and enjoy the journey into the national park as you cruise from Kaiteriteri to Anchorage. Cruise: 35 minutes. On the 9.15am departure (1 Nov–31 Mar), an Extended Cruise continues on to Tōtaranui before returning to Anchorage to begin your walk.

Walk to Apple Tree Bay

Walk the Coast Track from Anchorage to Apple Tree Bay, with the option to add the Pitt Head Loop along the way (see Walking Options above).

Return cruise

Rejoin your cruise at Apple Tree Bay and relax as you cruise back to Kaiteriteri. Cruise: 20 minutes.

If you're on the 9.15am departure and time allows, add this loop via Te Pukatea Bay and a former Māori pā site, with views over the Astrolabe Roadstead.
